2008 KME Pumper equipped with a Whelen All LED Lighting System, a Federal “Q” mechanical siren, Grover Stutter Tone air horns and a Power Call electronic siren. Inside the cab there is seating for 6 firefighters with 6- MSA SCBA’s. 2000 GPM Waterous single stage pump and a 200 CFM Compressed Air Foam System. Engine 54 has a 50 gallon class “A” foam tank as well as a 750 gallon water tank. For electrical needs there is a Smart Poere 20KW generator that powers two 200' cord reels and 8000 watts of lighting around the vehicle as well as a 4000 watt verticle 25' light tower. Engine 54 also features a Panasonic Toughbook computer linked to Dauphin County 911, an MSA Evolution 4000 Thermal Imaging Camera, two  MSA Orion 4 gas meters and a interior compartment that is equipped with an AED, trauma bag, speed board, 2 back boards, RIT pack, large area rescue bags and a refridgerator.. Engine 54 is set up with fire suppression on the drivers side. There is a full compliment of various hand tools, chimney fire kit, roof vent saw, rotary saw and a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan. The passenger side is set up for vehicle rescue with Amkus spreaders and cutters preconnected to a elcetric simo unit. There are also a 30" ram, 60" ram, heavy duty cutters, portable power unit, Junk Yard Dogg rescue struts, cribbing, electric and battery operated sawz alls and various other tools.
