2005 Ford F-450/ Swab Special Services vehicle. It’s primary function is to provide our Fire Police with a vehicle to carry all of their needed traffic control equipment such as traffic cones, barricades, portable radios, flashlights, safety flares, additional clothing, and a refrigerator for refreshments. Utility 54 also has a 4KW generator that provides power for the 4 - 500 watt quartz lights on the vehicle. Utility 54 is also the primary towing vehicle for our water rescue boat. For this purpose the utility carries a portable pump, 3 island fire bags, a trauma bag and a stokes basket.
