County Dispatched Company 54 for a reported barn fire. Chief 54-2 (Kleinfelter) went en route and county advised of waste on fire in a vacant chicken house. E-54 (Lt. Naples) arrived and crew went inside to investigate and found an electrical outlet in the ceiling smoldering. With extension to a ceiling joist and insulation. E-54 crew pulled an 1 3/4" line and knocked down the remaining hot spots. Crews secured the power to the building and checked for further extension and found none.
