This morning at 02:42, County dispatched the 54-1 box for an auto accident with injuries. Cheif 54 (Shellenhamer) went enroute and moments later, arrived on scene to find a single vehicle accident with both patients out of the vehicle, however one patient was found to have injuries. Engine 54 and Ambulance 54-1 arrived on scene. The Engine crews went to work securing the vehicle while the Ambulance crews started patient care on both occupants of the vehicle. The Engine crew then assisted the Ambulance crews with patient care as well. Engine 54-1 arrived an assisted both crews. After the patient was loaded in the Ambulance, both of the Engine crews swept up the roadway. Daileys Towing arrived to remove the vehicle. Once removed, all crews were clear of the event.
