County dispatched the 81-2 box for a utility pole on fire on Mill Road in Conewago Township. Chief 54 (Shellenhamer) arrived and advised that the top of the pole was burnt off and fire was still active. Units remained on scene to make sure nothing else caught on fire and waited on MetEd to arrive. Once MetEd arrived a couple of hours later, they extinguished the fire. Crews were then released from the scene and the box was placed in service.
